Lorenzo

In the dim glow of a gay erotic cinema, a young queer genealogist believes he’s found his long-lost father, plunging into an obsessive search where longing reshapes memory and truth dissolves into projection.

Lorenzo is a short film about how memory invents what it can’t recover. Grounded in Gomila’s second-person realm and inspired by Peruvian genealogist Camilo Dolorier, the story reflects the search for origins in a landscape where personal and national memory often vanish.
